"Summer Camps": Brevard Before & After School

📍 Camps will be held at select schools across North, Central, and South Brevard. Here's what you need to know:
🌻For children who were in K-6th grade during the 2024–2025 school year
🍧Cost: Weekly tuition: $113 | Daily drop-in rate: $40
Each week features awesome themes like Art, Wellness, STEM, Music, Nature, and Dance – so there’s something for every child to explore, create, and enjoy!

"Summer Enrichment" - BPS Educator-led Programs

1. You will need to create a student account for each child you want to attend a summer enrichment program.
2. The registration site will go live on May 5th at 6pm, and will be close on May 19th. It will be first come, first served so do not delay.
3. Create your student's accounts quickly so you avoid having issues on May 5!
4. Camps and locations will be posted by BPS soon.
Whether your child loves science, art, drama, sports, or something totally unique — our amazing BPS teachers are bringing their talents and passions to life in exciting camps designed just for students in grades K–11!

Week 1: June 2–5
Week 2: June 9–12
Week 3: June 16–19
Week 4: June 23–26
(Monday–Thursday only — no camps on Fridays!)

Elementary (Grades K–6): 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM
Secondary (Grades 7–11): 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

🍧 Cost: 100% FREE for all currently enrolled BPS students!**
🍎 Meals: Select locations will offer free breakfast & lunch. Others will be bring-your-own-meal — you’ll see this info when signing up.**
🚌 Transportation: Some sites will offer proximity busing with designated stops. Others will require drop-off/pick-up. (Sorry, no before/after care, but students can walk or bike if nearby!)**
**Please note that due to changes in funding, some features of BPS Summer Enrichment have changed. Please make sure to read the details of the program thoroughly when enrolling your child/ren.**

The Orlando Science Center is coming to MILA on Tuesday March 23rd at 5PM. This is an amazing experience and so much fun.

MILA Elementary will continue to be closed Wednesday, Thursday and also Friday.

ATTENTION!!! All BPS schools will have an early release tomorrow Tuesday 10/8 due to the intensification of Hurricane Milton. After Care will close at 5 PM tomorrow for those who need it. Please monitor for more information as they are released.

Due to Hurricane Milton, The Annual Title 1/Back to School Night will be canceled for this Thursday and rescheduled for Tuesday 10/22. This night was originally scheduled for conference night, more information to come about conferences. Thank you and stay safe.

**Rescheduled** Our Back to School/ Title 1 Night that was cancelled due to last weeks hurricane has been rescheduled for Oct. 10th. The chorus will perform at 4:45 in the cafeteria. The rest of the event will begin at 5. We can't wait to see you!

Is your student attending MILA Elementary? Come and be apart of the amazing things happening at your school by joining our PTO! The first meeting of the school year will be this Friday Aug 30th at 2:30 in our media center! We cannot wait to see you there!

The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is pleased to announce upcoming opportunities for parents and community members to provide input on the science materials for this adoption cycle. The newly adopted science instructional materials must be high quality and aligned with the Florida Science Standards. These materials will be implemented beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

We are getting ready to welcome our teachers and students. This is a reminder that on August 8th we'll be having registration day for those who haven't been able to complete it online yet. We'll be available the 8th from 8 AM - PM.
